After obtaining his education from the famous Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, Alexandre Gama soon broke into the marketing industry as a copywriter. His writings have won multiple awards and his skills have transferred into other areas of his future life.
In 1999, Alexandre Gama used his knowledge from the marketing industry to start Neogama. With Neogama, he created some of the best advertisements that had ever hit Brazil. He even promptly won many Cannes Film Festival awards (a feat that very few Latin Americans had achieved).
With a merger with the British BBH network, Neogama had broadened its horizon by opening up to the international market. Soon after the merger, the group had swiftly won, even more, film festivals in Europe.
About magazine had created a list of the top 250 professionals in all of Brazil in 2006. Not surprisingly, Alexandre Gama had made it at the top of the list
