pushing ahead

Wes Edens knows about winning, but not just as an NBA team owner. As the founder and CEO of Fortress Investment Group, he knows about leadership, success, turning and idea into a reality, and getting everyone on the same page. Getting everyone on the same page is the most important thing when it comes to winning a championship like his team, the Milwaukee Bucks achieved this season. A basketball team is more than just the people you see on the court, but it is an entire organization with hundreds of workers. It really takes quite a machine to run an NBA franchise. It takes even more than just a machine, but the right people at every level operating that machine. This is where his experience, and the experience of the co-owners come into play.

The Milwaukee Bucks have not always been the best team in the league. Matter of fact, it took the Bucks 50 years to win this title. That means several seasons of missing the mark. The turnaround for the franchise happened when Herb Kohl sold the team to the new group in 2014. This is when the big changes happened along with everything that made this team into who they are today. This is the change that Wes Edens has been a part of over the last 7 years.

Over the last 7 years, a lot of things have changed for the better including a better coach, better staff, better players, and a collective goal that everyone could get behind. It was not in the least bit easy, and it has taken a while, but their time is now. Perhaps this will become the newest dynasty, they definitely have everything in place to compete for a title for the next 5 years. Continuing to buy in and do the work is the most important thing that the Wes Edens lead Bucks should do.
